Our activated carbons are produced or reactivated in factories in the Czech Republic, with company participation in factories in Netherlands and Italy. Producing and recycling of active coal at temperatures around 850°C for twenty minutes in an atmosphere of smoke and steam. With this cleaning method, active coal is produced with renewed high absorption capability, comparable in value to new, active coal. The quality of reactivation is controlled by set values of absorbed isotherm and the iodine number. The sorbents are collected and handled in large-volume sacks of about (1m3). In the past, this equipment was successfully used to regenerate products for mostly European suppliers like Silcarbon, Chemviron Carbon, etc. Reactivated carbon costs are 25 to 50 percent lower than virgin carbon: ? 0.79 per kg.
